Officers

Daniel Hartwig, President
Daniel is a fourth-generation farmer from Easton. He is the resources manager at Woolf Enterprises, a diversified farming operation that grows almonds, processing tomatoes, pistachios, grapes, onions and garlic. Hartwig manages the farm's water resources, capital purchasing and regulatory compliance.

Mark Thompson, Vice President
Mark serves as chattel appraiser for Fresno Madera Farm Credit, specializing in non-real estate assets. He is also involved in several organizations including the Clovis Rodeo Association, Fresno-Kings Cattlemen's Association, Champions Club and the Junior Livestock Auction Committee at the Big Fresno Fair.

Ryan Indart, Treasurer
Ryan is a fourth-generation sheep producer and owner of The Indart Group. Along with running a large sheep operation, Ryan and his family farm cherries, oranges, almonds and dry land wheat. He is also involved in the California Wool Growers Association and the Western Range Association.

Nick Rocca, Secretary
Nick began his tenure on the FCFB Board of Directors in 2018, serving as the YF&R Chair. He is a fourth-generation farmer who has experience with grapes, almonds and vegetables. He is also involved in diversified farming, land management, and custom grape and almond harvesting. Nick is an equipment specialist at Sun Pacific.

Lucy Areias
Lucy grew up on her family's dairy in the Central Valley after moving from Terceira, Azores when she was two years old. Today, Lucy and her family run their dairy, A&M Farms, and grow corn, alfalfa and winter forage.

John Chandler
John is a fourth-generation diversified farmer in the Selma area. He farms alongside his parents, Bill and Carol Chandler, and brother, Tom. His great-grandfather started the farm in 1888. John has extensive experience in agricultural politics and policy.
Bailey DeGraw

Matthew Efird
Matthew is a fifth-generation farmer, managing his family's 125-year-old farm in Caruthers. He and his father own and operate Double E Farms, Inc. Matthew is also the principle of Efird Ag Enterprises, Inc., which specializes in commercial harvesting, trucking and brush shredding. Matt served as FCFB president from 2018-20.

Bob Felker

Melissa Fries
Melissa is a third-generation farmer from the Central Valley. She is the duck breeder and hatchery manager for Pitman Farms in Sanger, a third-generation family owned business that raises free-range birds. Melissa oversees the breeders from the time they begin to lay through the remainder of their life cycle.

Earl Hall
Earl is principle of Hall Ag Enterprises and is one of the largest agricultural employers in California. Licensed to provide farm labor in dozens of counties, and tens of thousands of employees statewide, his role in the local and state economy is substantial.

Jeremy Lane
Jeremy is the sales manager for Baloian Farms, a fourth-generation family operation that produces/packages peppers, onions and leaf lettuce. He previously worked as an agent for the USDA in Chicago, where he investigated licensing and false accounting in the produce industry.

Karen Musson
Karen is a partner in the family business, Gar Tootelian, Inc. (GAR), a major agricultural chemical distributor in Reedley. Karen oversees the Gar and Esther Tootelian Charitable Foundation's philanthropy and represents GAR's interests on many agricultural and non-profit organizations.

Navi Pooni
Navi, a third-generation farmer in the Fresno area, has deep roots in agriculture. His ancestors farmed in India for generations. In 1978, his parents immigrated to the United States and his father continued the tradition by farming Thompson seedless grapes for raisins.

George Porter
George is a lifelong resident of Fresno County and has been farming in the Kerman area since 1976. He serves on the Fresno Irrigation District Board of Directors and is actively involved in the local rodeo scene.

Jerry Prieto
In June 2008, Jerry retired as Fresno County's Agricultural Commissioner. Today, Jerry serves on the Fresno Irrigation District Board of Directors, as well as the North Kings Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA).
Jon Reelhorn
Jon is the president and principle of Belmont Nursery, Inc., a nursery and garden center located in the Fresno area.
Pat Ricchiuti
Pat is a third-generation diversified fresh fruit and nut crop grower-packer-shipper. He and his family own and operate P-R Farms, Inc. and the ENZO Olive Oil Company in Clovis. Pat is also involved with many agricultural organizations and previously served as FCFB president from 2004-06.
Donny Rollin
Since 1929, Donny's family has been part of the California dairy industry in the Riverdale area. The third-generation farmer's operation consists mostly of purebred Holsteins and is a part of California Dairies, Inc. Rollin also grows almonds and pistachios. Donny served as FCFB president from 2016-18.
Lorna Roush
Lorna is a fifth-generation farmer and rancher, whose family's operation, Schultz Ranch, Inc., is located in Burrel. In recent years, the operation has transitioned to permanent crops, including almonds, pistachios and wine grapes.

Alfreda Sebasto
Alfreda is the principle of Sebasto Communications Group, representing clients from ag, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, sports and non-profit organizations. She previously served as director of public affairs and press secretary for the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

Mark Sorensen
Mark is a fifth-generation farmer in the Caruthers area. Alongside his wife and children, Sorensen owns and operates Triple Delight Blueberries, LLC; Sorensen Farms, LLC; and Sorensen Harvesting, LLC. Mark served as FCFB president from 2014-16.
Rick Stark
Rick is the secretary and manager of grower relations at Sun-Maid Growers of California. He has worked with the company since 1989, where he began as a grower relations representative before working his way up to his current position.

Jace White
Jace is a farm manager for Sorensen Farms, LLC and Sorensen Harvesting, LLC. He aids in growing, replanting, transportation and sales for the company during blueberry season. Additionally, he manages crews during the company's commercial raisin harvest.
