Friends of the Family Farm Sponsorship

To ensure the viability and strength of Farm Bureau and Fresno County farmers and ranchers well into the future, FCFB recently began offering a new sponsorship program, Friends of the Family Farm (Friends). This program allows individuals to express a greater commitment to the goals of Farm Bureau.

Friends annual sponsorships are available through a choice of four levels of financial commitment:

Platinum - $2,500
Gold - $1,500
Silver - $1,000
Bronze - $500

All Friends of the Family Farm sponsors receive a FCFB Business Support annual membership; a featured profile on the FCFB Web site; monthly recognition in FCFB’s newsletter, Agriculture Today; recognition in FCFB’s e-newsletter, Ag Wire; and acknowledgment as a major sponsor for the following events and programs:

  • FAACT Leadership Development Program - Future Advocates for Agriculture Concerned about Tomorrow (FAACT) is an eight-month intensive program where participants acquire knowledge about a broad spectrum of issues affecting our region. The once-a-month, day-long seminars involve classroom discussions combined with practical tours/field trips.
  • Farm & Nutrition Day - This annual event introduces more than 2,000 students to over 60 individuals and groups to create an educational opportunity that highlights the values of good health and nutrition habits, as well as the value of agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley and California.
  • Celebrating Friends of Agriculture - This event provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate agriculture and the people who support it. Deserving reporters and editors are acknowledged for conveying accurate and objective reporting about agricultural issues and the industry.
  • Coffee Talk - Coffee Talks provide FCFB members the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers on topics that affect agriculture at a local restaurant or coffee shop in their area. Coffee Talks are free to FCFB members and friends.
  • Educational Forums - FCFB provides educational opportunities for the community-at-large by hosting forums on issues related to agriculture, such as water.
  • Training Classes - Throughout the year FCFB provides training opportunities to members on topics such as heat stress, cotton harvest safety, tractor safety and other compliance related subjects.
