Types of Memberships

Voting Membership

Individuals or businesses in the farming industry join as Voting members and receive the monthly Fresno County Agriculture Today newspaper . The Agriculture Today publication keeps our members informed on local events and reports on local and state issues concerning farming and ranching in the county. Voting members also receive the weekly Ag Alert, California's number one agricultural trade journal. Voting members are eligible for special discounts on insurance through our insurance partners, Allied Insurance and State Fund.

Sustaining Membership

Sustaining members are those not involved in agriculture but who are interested in supporting the preservation of agriculture. Sustaining members receive the monthly Fresno County Agriculture Today newspaper . The Agriculture Today publication keeps our members informed on local events and reports on local and state issues concerning farming and ranching in the county. A Sustaining member also receives California Country, filled with useful information and background on food production, home gardening and other subjects. Sustaining members are eligible for special discounts on insurance.

Business Support Membership

Business Support members are businesses (agriculturally related and non-agriculturally related) who support the protection and promotion of viable agriculture production in Fresno County and California. Business Support members receive the same benefits as Voting and Sustaining members. They receive the Agriculture Today newspaper and will receive either the Ag Alert or the California County magazine. All Business Support members are listed in the Business Support section of our newspaper and website.

All Members

All members may sign up for Friday Follow-Up, Fresno County Farm Bureau’s electronic weekly update that contains information and hot links on important county and state issues. Please email Farm Bureau to be added to this distribution list.
