The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department Ag Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional team dedicated to the investigation of agricultural related crimes as well as metal theft crimes for Fresno County. The team is comprised of a Sheriff’s Sergeant (Mike Chapman), a C.H.P. Detective, nine Sheriff’s Detectives, a Sheriff’s Community Service Officer and two Fresno Deputy District Attorneys. Business Summary:
Nisei Farmers League specializes in labor, immigration, housing, transportation, and environmental issues. We have a diverse representation of the various agriculture commodities such as grapes, tree fruit, citrus, strawberries, vegetables and nut crops. In addition, we represent flower and Christmas tree producers and farm labor contractors.
On the production side, we represent packing houses, processing plants, dehydrators and many non-agriculture businesses who are dependent on the agricultural industry.

Business Summary:
John P. "Phil" Larson was elected to represent District One in November 2002 and was sworn in January 6, 2003. He ran unopposed for re-election in June of 2006 and began his new term in January 2007. Supervisor Larson is a lifelong farmer and Fresno County resident. He is married to Joyce, and have two children and three grandchildren. Larson is also a United States Marine Corps veteran who achieved the rank of Sergeant E-4 while serving in Korea. Larson had a long and distinguished career with the Wilbur Ellis Company and retired in 2000, and was the FCFB President from 1996-1998.
